The 62nd meeting of the Inter-Organization Coordinating Committee (IOCC) of the IOMC was held 24-25 September 2024, hosted by UNITAR in Geneva. Mr. Johannes Heister (World Bank) chaired the meeting. The IOCC meeting discussed, inter alia, strategic interests of POs and IOMC collectively including coordination issues, GFC implementation, the negotiations for a science-policy panel (SPP) and for an international instrument on plastic pollution, the IOMC Toolbox, as well as an update of the work of IOMC mercury group.
